Veterinary Receptionist – Full-Time & Part-Time

Peach City Animal Hospital | Penticton, BC

Peach City Animal Hospital is seeking warm, professional, energetic, and dependable Full-Time and Part-Time Veterinary Receptionists to join our team.

We are looking for compassionate, organized, and motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about providing excellent customer service and pet care.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome clients and pets with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries efficiently
Schedule appointments and coordinate daily hospital bookings
Manage client and patient check-in/check-out
Maintain accurate patient records and client information
Prepare invoices and process payments accurately
Communicate treatment plans, follow-up recommendations, and pet care instructions as directed by the veterinary team
Handle client concerns with empathy, patience, and professionalism
Keep reception and client areas clean, organized, and welcoming
Support veterinarians and veterinary assistants with administrative duties

Qualifications

Previous veterinary reception experience preferred
Veterinary hospital, animal care, kennel, medical reception, or customer-service experience is an asset
Comfortable working around dogs and cats
Excellent customer service, communication, and telephone skills
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
Reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and eager to learn
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Physically capable of safely lifting up to 30 kg (66 lbs) when required
