Overview
This individual is responsible for all manual labor necessary for the construction of Masonry Veneers, Walls, and Concrete Block work. This includes general manual labour tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving construction materials. The role requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and consistent situational awareness.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials
- Spread masonry materials / build scaffolding
- Bring required forming materials to crew as requested
- Mix Mortar
- Joint Masonry walls
- Assemble / disassemble scaffolding
- Cut Masonry and sills as required
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite by removing debris and hazards
- All other duties as assigned
Experience and Qualifications
- Construction experience required
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations
- Physical stamina for demanding tasks
- Experience using tools
- Excellent communication skills and positive attitude
- Ability to follow directions
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow directions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
