Experience and Education
Education:
- A diploma, certificate, or post-secondary education in a related field is considered an asset; however, demonstrated leadership experience and relevant professional accomplishments are of primary importance.

- Administrative: 3 years (Required)
- Leadership: 1 year (Preferred)
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of dental administrators to achieve individual and team goals;
- Support conflict resolution among team members and promote constructive communication;
- Support organizational change by guiding team members through new processes and initiatives;
- Lead the delivery of an exceptional patient experience from reception through departure, ensuring all interactions reflect the clinic’s values, standards, and policies;
- Communicate treatment philosophy clearly and consistently, supporting patient understanding and informed decision-making;
- Manage incoming communications (phone, email, fax) and ensure timely, accurate follow-up;
- Maintain a well-organized and welcoming reception environment for patients and visitors;
- Manage and optimize the appointment schedule to ensure efficient use of clinical time and resources;
- Proactively manage cancellations, emergency bookings, and new patient flow to minimize gaps in the schedule;
- Oversee accurate maintenance of patient records, billing information, and office filing systems;
- Oversee and resolve patient accounts, and any complaints with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions-focused approach;
- Research and evaluate new products, equipment, and service solutions to support continuous improvement and operational effectiveness;
- Oversee daily deposit preparation and ensure accurate reconciliation of incoming payments;
- Monitor accounts receivable, including the preparation and distribution of monthly statements and follow-up with insurance providers as needed;
- Assist with maintaining interior and exterior clinic cleanliness and appearance to ensure a welcoming and safe patient experience;
- Organize and maintain storage and supply areas to ensure efficiency, accessibility, and compliance with operational standards; and
- Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability, reliability, and a team-first approach in a dynamic clinical environment.
Compensation
- $25,000 - $34,000
