Full job description

One of our clients is currently seeking a Red Seal Certified Journeyman Carpenter to join their construction crew for a minimum 6-month project in Petawawa, ON. This is an urgent opportunity to work on multiple residential housing units.

Local candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform carpentry work on residential construction projects.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Measure, cut, install, and repair wood and other building materials.
Construct and install framing, walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, and finishing components.
Work closely with the construction crew to complete projects safely and efficiently.
Operate hand and power tools safely.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

Requirements

Red Seal Certified Journeyman Carpenter (Mandatory)
Experience in residential construction.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Proficient with hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well in a team environment.
Physically capable of performing construction-related duties.

Pay: $37.00-$40.00 per hour
