Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Stonemason and bricklayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and the ability to work with various types of brick, stone and block materials. This role involves constructing, repairing, and restoring stone structures while ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

Construct, repair, and restore stone structures such as houses, foundations, chimney's etc
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
Utilize hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing stone materials.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience in masonry is required . Please do not apply if your not well experienced with brick block and stone . Be honest with your experience .
Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately is preferred
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to masonry work.
Experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship.
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
