Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and demonstrate expertise in meat cutting and preparation. This role is essential in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality meat products while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Duties

Perform meat cutting, trimming, and packaging to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Ensure all meat products are prepared according to food safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat cutting area, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their selections and answering any questions regarding meat products.
Monitor inventory levels of meat products and communicate needs for restocking to management.
Assist in training new staff on proper meat handling techniques and safety protocols.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry, particularly as a butcher or in a similar role, is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food handling practices, including food safety regulations.
Experience in customer service with the ability to engage positively with customers.
Proficiency in meat cutting techniques, including knowledge of various cuts of meat.
