Position Summary
As the Integrated Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations of Diagnostic Imaging services at both Ross Memorial Hospital (RMH) and Haliburton Highlands Health Services (HHHS). Your leadership demonstrates creativity, innovation, flexibility, and professional knowledge. Working collaboratively, you will engage in key activities to promote positive relationships with patients, visitors, staff, physicians, and volunteers.
In addition, RMH is a member of the seven-organization EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) collaboration, as well as the new Sectra regional shared PACS system and the Integrated Manager will play an integral role in supporting the ongoing implementation, optimization, and governance of the EPIC system within the Diagnostic Imaging portfolio. The Integrated Manager will act as a key liaison between clinical operations and the shared EPIC platform, championing best practices in digital health across the partnership.
The primary location for this position will be at RMH with regular on-site support at HHHS.

Responsibilities:
- Provide operational leadership and continuity during the absence of the Integrated Director, Diagnostic Imaging.
- Ensure departmental compliance with all applicable legislation, accreditation standards, hospital policies, professional practice requirements, and privacy/security policies.
- Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate departmental policies, procedures, workflows, and service delivery models to support operational excellence and evidence-based practice.
- Lead departmental initiatives focused on continuous quality improvement, patient experience, service innovation, operational efficiency, and system integration.
- Act as the primary liaison with Radiologists, physicians, hospital leadership, regional partners, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Represent Diagnostic Imaging services internally and externally on regional, provincial, and organizational committees as assigned.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, orientation planning, and retention of staff.
- Manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels and operational coverage.
- Lead performance management processes including performance appraisals, coaching, attendance management, and return-to-work programs.
- Participate in annual budget planning and monthly variance reporting.
- Participate in procurement activities for capital equipment and operational resources.
- Manage vendor relationships and service contracts to ensure ongoing equipment maintenance and support.
- Implement and support strategic planning, departmental development projects, and operational initiatives.
- Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to support operational decision-making and performance improvement.

Essential Qualifications
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
- Graduate degree in a health-related discipline, Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in an acute care healthcare setting.
- Minimum two (2) years of progressive leadership experience in an acute healthcare environment.
- Experience in project management, procurement, budgeting, and operational planning.
- Advanced computer proficiency, including scheduling, payroll, reporting, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across organizations and interdisciplinary teams.
- Advanced computer skills and budgeting experience.
- Valid driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle.
- Demonstrated ability to deal effectively and co-operatively with all levels of staff, patients, and the public.
- Maintains current knowledge of and ensures compliance with all regulatory and professional standards of care which includes accreditation.
- Must be able to fulfill the physical requirements of the job, as per the current Physical Demands Analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in health-related discipline, health administration, business administration or related subject.
- Experience managing medical imaging equipment and vendor service agreements.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance, validation, regulatory compliance, patient safety, and risk management practices.
- Project Management certification.
- LEAN, Quality Improvement, or leadership training is considered an asset.
Hours of Work
Hours of work for this position are 37.5 hours/week. You will also be scheduled for Manager on Call rotation that includes nights and weekends.
