HOURS OF WORK:
The stated hours of work are approximate as schedules are subject to change with the operational needs of the Health Centre. Changes made to hours of work will follow the terms of the applicable collective agreement, company policy and/or legislation.
Type of Shifts: Days 6 & 8hr
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Endoscopy Unit Aide cleans and High Level Disinfects (HLD) scope equipment, orders supplies, stocks procedure rooms and sets up for all procedures.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

Grade 12 or equivalent
-
MDARO (Medical Device Reprocessing Association of Ontario) or Medical Device Reprocessing Certificate required.

Recertification within the last 2 years, unless currently working in a Medical Device Reprocessing department as a MDR Technician.
- Scope cleaning experience preferred
WHO YOU ARE:

Good organizational skills are required to handle multiple demands at a time.

Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and accurately to meet schedule demands.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with staff and physicians.

Good knowledge of supply procurement process.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to be flexible, work well independently and use good judgement.

Good technical ability in order to disassemble and assemble
