Administrative Assistant - Mortgage Broker Office (Part-Time 30 hours a week)

Location: Peterborough, Ontario
Job Type: Part-Time in Office
Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week, 4–5 days per week
Schedule: In-office
Pay: $20/hour

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our busy Peterborough office. We are looking for someone who can provide reliable administrative and client-care support while learning the mortgage business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and building their knowledge of the mortgage industry. Mortgage experience is not required, as training will be provided on the mortgage side of the business. However, the successful candidate must have the aptitude and willingness to learn and grow in the role.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the mortgage agent/broker
Assist with mortgage paperwork and documentation
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to general inquiries
Provide professional and friendly client care
Help keep client files organized and up to date
Follow up on documentation and outstanding items
Assist with day-to-day office tasks
Provide client care and administrative support
Learn the mortgage process and industry while working alongside an experienced mortgage professional

Previous office, administrative, customer service, or financial-services experience is an asset
