Full job description

Job Summary

Westmount Royal Care Clinic is a dedicated health and wellness clinic in Peterborough, Ontario. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional, patient-centered care in a welcoming and professional environment. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and proactive Receptionist to join our team and serve as the face of our clinic.

As our Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. You will manage the front desk, streamline daily operations, and ensure our patients receive outstanding service from the moment they walk through the door, email, or call our clinic. We are looking for someone who will work well in a multi-discipline setting and can comfortably work with everyone on our team!!

Responsibilities

Patient Coordination: Greet patients warmly, manage check-ins/check-outs, and answer phone calls and emails efficiently.
Scheduling & Booking: Coordinate and manage appointments, optimize practitioner schedules, and set up files for new patients.
Billing & Billing Support: Process financial transactions, handle point-of-sale payments, and assist with insurance submissions.
Clinic Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area and manage front-office administrative tasks.
Communication: Act as a reliable liaison between patients and practitioners, managing patient inquiries with confidentiality and care.

Experience

Software Experience: Strong computer proficiency is required. Direct experience with the Jane App practice management platform is highly preferred and considered a major asset.
Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
Organization: Superior multi-tasking skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Reliability: Professional demeanor with a strong commitment to patient privacy and data security.
Flexibility: Availability to work standard clinic hours, with occasional evening flexibility if required. There is an opportunity for hours and amount of days to increase based on our clinic's needs.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
