This positions responsibility is to assist in the productivity and efficiency of the sales and service departments as it pertains to customer demonstrations and deliveries. This position is also responsible for assisting with yard organization and will work with our Yard Manager to ensure boats are accessible in a timely fashion for our Technicians. You may be asked to assist with repairs to Paris Marine owned buildings or equipment and we look forward to how your expertise will contribute to the team’s overall objectives.
Your input will be required at weekly staff meetings and you will be expected to balance your own productivity and efficiency as it relates to time management. Monitoring the delivery schedule and ensuring the on time, clean and water ready delivery of customer units is your main priority.
Your hours of work will be as requested June through the end of October. Your hours may fluctuate due to seasonality and weather.
Responsibilities:
General:
- Maintain vehicle, shop, yard, work area, and showroom cleanliness
- Maintain a neat and orderly appearance at all times
- Maintain issued uniforms and report lost/damaged items
- Represent the dealership in a positive manner at all times
- Promote the dealership at all times
- Care for clients and prospective clients with dignity and respect at all times
- Abide by all company safety policies
- Complete daily tasks as assigned
- Prepare for the following day’s duty period before departing each day
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
Specific:
- Transport boats and trailers as requested in a safe and expeditious manner
- Deliver client’s boats with the utmost respect with safety and care
- Water test boats as requested by the Service Department
- Record and schedule vehicle maintenance tasks as required
- Complete CVOR daily logs
- Maintain safe and operational equipment
Qualifications:
- Boat driving/handling/towing experience
- Safe driving record/ Clean driver’s abstract
- Positive “Can Do” attitude
- Pleasant personality, able to get along well with others
- Reliable transportation
This position is subject to a 30-day probationary period. After 30 workdays you will have a formal review with Management for evaluation of performance and potential and the exploration of further responsibilities and hours.
A standardized company orientation is mandatory and will be completed within your first week at Paris Marine. You will also be required to sign a Company Confidentiality Agreement. Training will be provided on all tasks before being required to perform them. A copy of our Company Policies will be available for your review and will be made accessible at all times.
