Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable professional to join our team as a Shingler. This role involves hands-on construction and maintenance work, requiring a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a variety of environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with carpentry, handyman tasks, and the use of hand tools, contributing to the successful completion of diverse projects. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills further within a dynamic and supportive team.

Duties

Perform carpentry tasks including framing, trimming, and finishing work using hand tools and power tools
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks such as caulking, sealing, and general handyman duties
Assist in construction projects, including heavy lifting and material handling
Use hand tools safely and effectively to complete various construction-related tasks
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times

Requirements

Proven experience with construction, carpentry, or handyman work preferred
Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently
Experience with caulking, sealing, and general repair work is a plus
Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
Reliable transportation and availability to work flexible hours as needed
