Cobourg Mazda, part of the Gyro family-owned group of dealerships, is looking for a motivated, hardworking, and team-oriented Service Porter / Lot Attendant to join our growing Fixed Operations team.

This is more than a traditional lot attendant position. You will support our Service, Parts, Sales, and Detail departments while also being one of the first people our Service customers interact with when arriving at the dealership.

Responsibilities
- Greet Service customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
- Assist with customer and vehicle check-in, including mileage and vehicle information.
- Properly identify customer vehicles and keys and communicate customer arrivals to Service Advisors.
- Move and stage customer vehicles for technicians, Service Advisors, Detail, and customer pickup.
- Maintain an organized service drive, service parking area, and dealership lot.
- Complete parts runs and local parts pickups/deliveries for the Parts and Service Departments.
- Pick up parts from local suppliers, dealerships, and vendors as required.
- Organize and move new, pre-owned, service, and customer vehicles throughout the dealership.
- Stage vehicles for sales appointments, test drives, service, and deliveries.
- Fuel vehicles and assist with dealer trades and vehicle pickups/drop-offs as required.
- Assist with receiving incoming vehicle inventory.
- Assist with snow removal from vehicles and maintaining vehicle accessibility during winter.
- Maintain clean, safe, and professional dealership grounds.
- Immediately report vehicle damage, safety concerns, or other issues.
- Assist other departments as required to keep dealership operations running efficiently.
What We're Looking For
- Valid Ontario G driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Dependable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and take initiative without constant supervision.
- Comfortable driving and parking a variety of vehicles.
- Willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to drive manual-transmission vehicles.
- Automotive or dealership experience is an asset but not required.
- Genuine interest in vehicles and building a career in the automotive industry is strongly preferred.
