Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and efficiently managing food and beverage orders. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, hospitality standards, and effective time management to ensure a memorable experience for our guests. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued.

Duties

Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities.
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with health standards.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service operations.
Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management skills.
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to uphold food safety standards.
Assist in training new team members on service protocols and POS operation as needed.

Experience

Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally.
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately.
Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
Experience in hospitality environments that emphasize teamwork, communication, and professionalism is highly desirable. Smart Serve Certificate a Must

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
