Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, educate clients about our products, and ensure a welcoming and professional environment. This role requires a strong understanding of retail sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks. The Budtender will play a key role in promoting responsible consumption and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs
Educate clients on product effects, proper usage, and safety guidelines
Manage sales transactions accurately using POS systems and cash handling procedures
Upsell products to maximize customer satisfaction and store sales
Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability
Handle inventory management, including filing records and stock replenishment
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
Uphold compliance with legal regulations regarding sale and consumption of products
Support team leadership in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and computer operation skills
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in French are a plus
Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or hospitality environments is preferred
Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for transactions
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell effectively
Organizational skills for inventory management and merchandising setup
Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary for stock movement or display setup
Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
