Full job description

THRIVE Psychological Services is a team of licensed psychologists, psychotherapists, nurse psychotherapists, and registered social workers aiming to provide compassionate, trauma-informed, and judgment-free therapy to the community of Sarnia Lambton. Currently we are looking to add a registered psychotherapist, registered social worker, or nurse psychotherapist to extend our clinic’s availability to some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality psychotherapy to individuals with diverse needs
Maintain a professional environment with with strict adherence to professional laws, regulations and guidelines
Participate in regular and ongoing clinical supervision, provided by the clinic.

Requirements

Registered (or Qualifying) Psychotherapist, Registered Social Worker, or Nurse Psychotherapist. Must be able to provide diplomas, registration with applicable college in good standing, and proof of professional liability insurance.
Must have training and experience practicing EMDR therapy
Strong knowledge of and experience with the biopsychosocial model (health psychology), CBT, Internal Family Systems, and attachment theory.
Must have evening and weekend availability (2-3 shifts/week)
Experience working with front line workers, first responders and paramilitary organizations an asset
