Overview

Fresh St. Market is a place to explore, discover and try what's fresh, great, amazing and delicious. We've searched north, south, east and west, near and far, for some of the tastiest, local foods we think you'll love. We offer top-of-the-line products in an atmosphere of discovery and exploration where new, authentic, organic, and exclusively sourced products become everyday shopping.

This position requires typical shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with lots of lifting.

Reporting to the Department Leaders, your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Job Overview - Bakery Receiver

Brings a positive attitude each every day
Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety, corporate policies, and other programs and initiatives
Inspect all products for quality and presentation; report missing or damaged items, overages and other discrepancies
Scan or stamp items received and properly assemble and store items
Review invoices to verify products, pricing, and quantity of items received
Load and unload products
Maintain organization of store products
Maintain a clean and safe working environment as per Company requirements
Performing any additional duties assigned by the Department Leaders

Job Overview - Bakery Breakout

Brings a positive attitude each every day
Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety, corporate policies, and other programs and initiatives
Provide customer service to meet customer needs
Process customer Bakery orders
Handle and prepare Bakery products
Maintain a clean and safe working environment as per Company requirements
Performing any additional duties assigned by the Department Leaders

Street Credentials

You have an impeccable level of cleanliness, attention to detail and organization
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt well to shifting priorities
You are highly self-motivated and work well under minimal supervision
You possess strong customer service skills
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
You work well with others in a high-pressure environment
Physical Requirements are required as a Receiver in Fresh St. Market
You have 1+ years of experience working in as Receiver or related field
You have a valid work authorization in Canada
