About the Role

We are seeking an an experienced Pouch Machine Operator with a background in flexible plastic packaging manufacturing. This role is responsible for operating pouch machines to produce high-quality packaging products safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating pouch machines in a flexible packaging environment, strong mechanical aptitude, and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate pouch bag machines
Perform machine changeovers and adjustments for production runs
Monitor machine performance to ensure quality, speed, and efficiency targets are met
Conduct in-process inspections to ensure seal integrity, dimensions, and print quality meet specifications
Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate technical issues when needed
Maintain accurate production, downtime, and quality records
Follow all safety procedures and GMP standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

2+ years’ experience operating pouch machines in flexible packaging manufacturing
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Ability to read work orders, specifications, and measurements
Ability to work independently and meet production targets
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
Ability to read and write English

Work Environment

Manufacturing setting with standing, lifting, bending and repetitive tasks
PPE required as applicable (Hair Nets, Beard Nets and Ear Plugs are provided and required, Safety Shoes: subsidized after passing probation)

Shift

Monday to Friday 600AM - 2:30PM
Must be willing to work any shift

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
