Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of construction, including blueprint reading, concrete forming, restoration, siding, carpentry, and the operation of heavy equipment. This role involves performing a variety of tasks that require technical expertise, physical strength, and attention to detail to ensure high-quality project completion. The position offers opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic construction environment. No set work location, Local work meet on site, out of town work transportation is provided.

Responsibilities

Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities
Construct and install concrete forms, perform concrete finishing tasks, and assist with restoration projects
Install siding and perform carpentry work using hand tools and power tools
Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to support various construction tasks
Use joinery techniques to join timber components as needed for structural integrity
Handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks to move materials and equipment around the job site
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Skills

Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
Experience with concrete forming, finishing, and restoration work
Skilled in siding installation, carpentry, woodworking, timber framing, and use of hand tools and power tools
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively
Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy loads and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly
Construction experience with a focus on safety, precision, and efficiency
Ability to interpret technical instructions accurately and work well within a team environment

Pay: $26.00-$35.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road
