Scope of Work: School Renovations, expected to last 2-3 months

Schedule: 21days on / 7 days off 10 hour days

Accommodations: Camp accommodations available

Travel: Fly In/Fly Out

Job Location: Kaskeschewan, Ont

Report to: Site Foreman

Opportunity Description:

Alcor is currently seeking an experienced Carpenter to support school renovation work in a highly remote location.

This opportunity is well suited to individuals who are comfortable working independently in challenging and isolated environments. The project location has no cellular service and relies on satellite internet for communication. Travel to and from the site will be by bush plane, as there is no road access.

Qualifications:

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean drivers abstract.
Must have 10+ years carpentry experience (Journeyman ticket preferred).
Fall Protection - ESC approved is an asset.
Elevated Work Platform - ESC is an asset.
Confined Space Entry/Monitor - ESC is an asset.
ESC CSO (Common Safety Orientation).
Renovation Experience.
Finish Experience.
Self-motivated, reliable, flexible and proactive with an ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Demonstrated a history of safe Carpentry related practices.
Must be willing to complete site specific training requirements.
