Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your skills in meal preparation, food safety, and kitchen operations while contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, and familiarity with the food industry standards is essential. The successful candidate will be committed to maintaining high standards of food handling and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety standards
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, ovens, and fryers
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experiences
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment

Qualifications

Prior experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or the food industry preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
Basic understanding of serving protocols and customer service principles
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
