Position Overview
This position is much more than a traditional administrative assistant role.
You will serve as the owner's right hand, helping coordinate communications, manage projects, support resort operations and assist with future development initiatives.
The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, working with people, and taking ownership of responsibilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive Support
- Assist the owner with daily administrative tasks
- Manage calendars, appointments and meetings
- Prepare correspondence, reports and presentations
- Organize documents and maintain records
- Translate between English and Chinese (written and verbal)
- Attend meetings and provide interpretation when required
Operations Coordination
- Coordinate communications between the owner and resort staff
- Assist with guest service issues when necessary
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers and service providers
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and follow up on projects
- Monitor purchasing and inventory
- Support implementation of resort improvement projects
Business Development
- Assist with market research and competitor analysis
- Support planning of new accommodation products
- Help prepare business plans and presentations
- Coordinate with architects, engineers and consultants
- Communicate with government agencies and utility companies when required
Office Administration
- Email management
- Filing and document control
- Data entry
- Booking travel and accommodation
- General office administration
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who is:
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Chinese language ability is considered a strong asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
- Comfortable learning new software
- Valid BC driver's licence (preferred)
Experience
Preferred experience in one or more of the following:
- Hospitality
- Resort or campground operations
- Tourism
- Property management
- Executive assistant
- Office management
- Project coordination
Management experience would be considered an asset.

Salary
$75,000–90,000 per year
depending on experience and qualifications.
