DeLong Wealth Management is a financial services company with a focus on investment, insurance and planning solutions. Our goal is to provide our clients with confidence and peace of mind with their financial affairs. DeLong Wealth Management is looking for a financial advisor administrative assistant who will elevate our team and help provide a friendly and professional work environment while fulfilling clients’ long-term financial goals.

Job Description

As an administrative assistant, your main responsibility will be to provide advisor support services to aid in the preparation, execution, and organization of client accounts. Specific day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:

Schedule appointments via phone and email
Greet clients at in-person meetings in a welcoming manner
Prepare digital forms
Maintain and create organized digital client files
Execute and follow-up on time sensitive transactions and updates to client accounts

To achieve these tasks, you will be required to work independently for long periods of time, while also collaborating regularly with the advisors. Your work will enable the company to fulfill its commitments to clients.

Requirements and Qualifications

You will be a reliable and exceptionally detail-oriented individual who possesses a strong work ethic and high integrity. You will have strong communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills. This is a full-time, 35 hours per week position that requires you to be available during the work week with no weekends or evenings involved. No minimum education requirements are required but experience in the financial industry is an asset. Proficiency with Outlook, Adobe, Excel and DocuSign is essential. There will be extensive training upon hiring for this position.You will receive competitive compensation along with a health spending account.
