What matters most in a role like this is your ability to engage with people easily and make them feel confident in your ability to help them.As a Health Centre Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift.

Full time pemanent position: 7/7 0700-1900 12 hour rotational shift

Responsibilities for Health Centre Security Guard

Patrol sensitive areas (interior/exterior) to deter and detect suspicious activity.
Manage access control and identity verification for secure zones.
Respond promptly to alarms, site codes, and incidents; take appropriate action to stabilize situations.
De-escalate conflicts professionally and maintain order while upholding property rules and by-laws.
Liaise with law enforcement and emergency responders during serious incidents.
Communicate clearly via radio and in person with clients, visitors, and team members.
Document incidents, observations, and actions taken through accurate reports and logs.
Perform proactive patrols and lock/unlock routines to maintain safety and security

Qualifications for Health Centre Security Guard

MB Security Guard licence (or eligible) and legal right to work in Canada.
Security/protective services or high-volume customer service in an asset
Access control & ID verification; clear radio communication.
Strong situational awareness; rapid response to alarms/codes; confident de-escalation.
Solid report writing (incident/DAR/maintenance); basic alarm/access-control proficiency.
Fit for patrols (standing/walking/stairs); professional with clients and emergency services.
