We're Hiring: Compassionate Caregivers | Home Instead

Location: In-Person, Local Community
Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time
Salary: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
Expected Hours: Approximately 15 hours per week

Your Role as a Caregiver

As a Caregiver, your responsibilities may vary based on client needs, your experience, and personality. These could include:

Companionship and engaging conversation
Light housekeeping and meal preparation
Medication and appointment reminders
Escorting clients to appointments and errands
Supporting clients with Alzheimer's and dementia
Personal care and hygiene assistance
Palliative care
Mobility support
Creating a positive, safe, and enriching environment

Requirements

Must be awake during all assigned shifts
Fluent in written and spoken English
Clear criminal background check
OFA First Aid Level 1 – Required
Food Safe Level 1 – Required
WHMIS Certification – Required
Must have a Class 5 Driver's Licence, own vehicle, and valid auto insurance
