Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! As a Server, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests, takes orders, and ensures an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Your enthusiasm for food and hospitality will help create memorable moments for our guests, encouraging repeat visits and positive reviews. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your customer service skills, food industry knowledge, and passion for hospitality in a lively and fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, ensuring food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed
Assist in food preparation when needed and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction

Qualifications

Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Understanding of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cashiering and billing purposes
Experience with food preparation, serving, and hospitality practices is beneficial
Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
