Full job description

Are you a highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail and accuracy? Do you take an interest in technology and security systems? Are you results-driven? Apply to join our team as a Security Technician! You'll work for a growing, family-owned company that has been serving Canadians with locally based service for over 100 years.

The Role

Troubleshoot and repair of a wide variety of security equipment such as alarm systems, CCTV, access control, intercoms, gates and computer networks
Installation of new systems and upgrades with accuracy to meet client needs and expectations
Uphold company and industry standards for quality and within recognized guidelines
Resolve client concerns and provide exceptional customer service, making recommendations where appropriate to ensure optimal system function
Maintain accurate service records, including detailed notes and inventory
Comfortable working at heights on ladders and lifts, in attics and crawl spaces, as well as to lift 50+ lbs.
Able to work safely in a construction site environment is a must.

Qualifications

Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the security industry, with in-depth knowledge of IP Cameras, access Control and Intrusion systems.
Ability to troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install equipment is required.
Comfortable working at heights on ladders and lifts, in attics and crawl spaces, as well as to lift 50+ lbs.
Able to work safely in a construction site environment is a must
Work with high degree of accuracy and thoroughness
Strong organizational skills
Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal
Motivated self-starter and effective team player
Must have a clean criminal record, and a valid Driver's license.

This a full-time permanent position with a very attractive compensation package including benefits, pension matching, and other employee incentives. Positions are being filled in Prince Edward Island.
