As we continue to expand, we're seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Maintenance Person to join our dynamic team.

Role Overview: We are in search of a Full-time Carpenter or Maintenance Person who is enthusiastic, proactive, reliable, and hardworking. If you're passionate about your craft and eager to contribute to diverse projects, this role offers the perfect opportunity. The selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to carpentry and property maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret blueprints and technical drawings with precision.
Collaborate with clients to understand and address project requirements effectively.
Handle change orders in a responsive and efficient manner.
Execute tasks in multiple trades, including light electrical, plumbing, tile and granite work, and more.
Operate light equipment such as Bobcats and forklifts as needed.
Lead and collaborate with peers to effectively divide job tasks and achieve team goals.
Work alongside subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
Provide training and guidance to apprentices and coworkers.
Propose innovative solutions, alternative methods, and improvements to enhance project outcomes.
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
Apply knowledge of various types of wood and their applications.
Utilize a wide range of carpentry methods, tools, and equipment to achieve exceptional results.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is a must.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience (non-ticketed Journey person).
Self-motivated, reliable, flexible, and proactive with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Carpentry experience with a Red Seal designation.
Experience in Residential and Commercial Renovations is an asset.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Exceptional multitasking abilities and effective communication skills.
Current driver's license.
