The Supply Services team delivers a wide range of essential services that support ministries, Crown corporations, and other public sector organizations across the province. The Role
The Postal Clerk plays an important role in supporting government operations by processing, sorting, and delivering mail and materials while ensuring services are provided accurately and efficiently. Working as part of a collaborative team, this position may perform a variety of duties, including mail handling, shipping and receiving, delivery services, and operating scanning and digital imaging technology.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
- Experience providing customer service.
- Experience in keyboarding/data entry, word processing, creating spreadsheets and working with standard computer applications (e.g., Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Experience using operating equipment such as hand and power pallet jacks, electric forklifts, delivery vehicles, mailing machines and electronic scales.
- Experience using personal computers, multifunctional devices (MFD), handheld scanners and high-speed production scanners.
