The OV Burger Bar is excited to welcome a Server/Bartender who is ready to bring their enthusiasm, experience, and dedication to our dynamic team. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or someone eager to grow your skills in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you.

This role is all about creating memorable guest experiences, working collaboratively with the team, and embracing the high-energy vibe that makes OV Burger Bar the heart of Prince Rupert.

Core Responsibilities

Guest Service

Engage with guests, provide thoughtful recommendations, and ensure attention to detail.
Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to all guests.
Handle guest concerns professionally and work to resolve them quickly.

Bartending Expertise

Prepare and serve beverages with accuracy and consistency.
Maintain a clean, organized bar area.
Ensure bar equipment is well-maintained and operational.

Team Support

Collaborate with the Front of House team to ensure smooth operations.
Step in where needed to support teammates and keep service running efficiently.
Contribute to a positive, welcoming work environment.

Must-Haves

Experience as a server and/or bartender, or a strong willingness to learn.
Excellent communication, multitasking, and organisational skills.
Valid Serving It Right certification.
Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
A positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

The Nice-to-Haves

Experience with Square or similar POS systems.
A proactive approach to learning and contributing to the team.
An interest in growing your skills and taking on additional responsibilities over time.
