Job Summary
Are you passionate about creating delicious food and working in a vibrant, community-focused environment? Wheelhouse Brewing Company is looking for two dedicated and motivated Line Cooks to join our team full-time! Be part of a close-knit crew in one of Prince Rupert's most celebrated destinations, known for its craft beer, wood-fired pizzas, and warm hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and quality standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Ensure all food is prepared consistently with attention to presentation, portioning, and cleanliness.
Assist with daily kitchen operations, including prep work, stocking stations, and inventory organization.
Receive, rotate, and properly store food and kitchen supplies following food safety guidelines.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods and communicate effectively with front-of-house staff.
Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties, including cleaning, equipment checks, and restocking.
Help prepare pizza dough, assemble pizzas, and maintain ingredient levels throughout service.
Contribute to a positive team environment focused on delivering an excellent guest experience.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a line cook or similar role preferred.
A genuine passion for food, creativity and a strong attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating collaboration, positivity, and adaptability.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Commitment to maintaining the highest cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and consistently deliver quality results.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and support a collaborative work environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks in a busy kitchen environment.
Applicants must be residents of British Columbia and legally authorized to work in Canada.
Food Safe certification is an asset but not required.
