Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Worker to join our plumbing & Heating team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes, blueprint reading, and various machining techniques.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
Set up and operate manual hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling sheet metal components.
Use welding techniques to join metal parts according to specifications.
Perform quality inspections using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet strict tolerances.
Maintain accurate documentation of work processes and inspection results.
Assist in assembly of fabricated components into final products or systems.
Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication with knowledge of machining processes.
Proficiency in blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and basic math skills.
Skilled in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, or arc welding.
Strong attention to detail for quality inspection using calipers and other measurement tools.
Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of assembly processes.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical capability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. This position is integral to our manufacturing operations and requires a dedicated professional committed to producing high-quality metal components efficiently and safely.

Pay: $26.00-$38.00 per hour
