Position Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Senior Accounting Specialist to oversee our general ledger functions, financial reporting, and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities & Functions:
1. Financial Reporting & Group Consolidation

Ledger & Month-End Closing: Lead and execute end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
Group Consolidation: Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for the Group, ensuring alignment across multiple entities.
Cross-Border Reporting: Structure, prepare, and deliver regular monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages to the holding company in China, ensuring compliance with both local and corporate requirements.
Subsidiary Oversight: Review accounting packs submitted by subsidiaries; ensure strict adherence to Group accounting policies and relevant financial reporting standards. Proactively identify and escalate significant accounting or tax anomalies.
Statutory Compliance: Lead the preparation and review of annual statutory financial statements, coordinating closely with external auditors to ensure smooth annual audits.
Budgeting & Variance Analysis: Drive the annual budgeting and financial forecasting processes; perform rigorous monthly variance analysis (Budget vs. Actual) to provide actionable insights to management.

2. Treasury & Treasury Management
Cash Flow Optimization: Monitor and manage daily cash flow operations, overseeing accounts receivable receipts and accounts payable disbursements to optimize working capital.
Fund Management: Formulate strategies to maintain minimal idle balances in low-yield current accounts while ensuring robust liquidity for daily operational needs.

3. Tax Compliance & Strategy
Tax Advisory Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for corporate group tax teams and external tax advisors to facilitate tax planning, corporate tax estimates, and timely tax filings.
Regulatory Alignment: Stay abreast of local tax laws and transfer pricing adjustments to mitigate financial and compliance risks.

4. Process Improvement & Ad-Hoc Projects
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Continually evaluate internal accounting workflows and systems to drive automation and efficiency.
Executive Support: Execute ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic tasks as requested by senior management.

Job Requirements:

Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional qualification is highly preferred (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive corporate accounting experience, preferably with exposure to multinational corporation (MNC) environments or group consolidation.

Language Skills: Professional fluency in both written and spoken English and French is mandatory.

Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge of local accounting standards (e.g., US GAAP / IFRS) and corporate tax regulations. Familiarity with PRC GAAP is a significant advantage.

Systems Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Financial Modeling) and hands-on experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Kingdee/Yonyou).

Core Competencies: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills; ability to work independently under tight reporting deadlines.
Pay: $100,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
