Our work can include equipment installation & repair, routine maintenance, product merchandising, software updates, site inspections and a variety of ad-hoc requests.
Our compensation rate ranges from $30 - $45/hr, depending on experience and the nature of the work project. The hours are generally flexible, the work completed around your personal schedule. Additional compensation will be provided for travel (hourly rate + mileage) if required.
We are currently looking for a Service Technician to cover Quebec City area.
The core role will be to provide routine maintenance, repair & merchandising services for equipment found within retail stores. It will be an on-going opportunity with a min of 8hrs weekly to start and will likely increase. There will also be other client opportunities within region, that will come up on an as needed basis.
No experience required; everything can be taught. However, preference will be given to those with technical skills & work experience. Specifically experience servicing mechanical equipment.
- Experience installing, completing routine maintenance, or repairing equipment.
- Technology/IT skills (hardware/software). General handyperson skills (contractors etc.).
- Technical hobbies are relevant experience (working on your car, building a computer, home renovation etc.)
- Generally, we are looking for people with an aptitude & interest in technical work (fixing/repairing/improving).
- Expected to have access to tools/equipment & access to a vehicle (to travel to various site locations).
- Strong emphasis on soft skills: reliable, self-directed, hard working, good problem solver, ambitious etc.
- Hours worked will be flexible (can create your own schedule)
