Clinical Educator (full time)

Montreal, QC, Canada | req29263

The Clinical Educator is responsible for oversight of the quality of clinical services provided by Medigas through development and delivery of clinical training content and monitoring of clinical assessments which enables employees to reach the clinical quality, safety and competence expectations of Medigas using available tools and platforms.

They collaborate with the District Managers and the National Clinical Services Manager to develop content that helps build the skills and knowledge of Medigas employees. They will source best practices from both internal and external sources. They will customize training programs as required to best suit the target audience; these can be online, in classrooms or in-person training sessions within facilities.

What you will enjoy doing*

You’ll create and deliver clinical training materials tailored to what the organization needs most, including onboarding and ongoing training modules
Work closely with the National Clinical Services Manager and District Managers to prioritize and coordinate training programs across the region
Identify best practices and make sure they’re shared and implemented throughout the team
Oversee clinical quality by regularly reviewing documentation and, when needed, conducting joint sessions with clinical staff to provide guidance and feedback
Keep detailed records of all training activities, attendance, assessments, and any retraining that’s required
Evaluate how effective the training programs are by gathering feedback, running assessments, and using surveys to make improvements

What makes you great*

You are a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse with current registration; LPN or RPN registration is also accepted
Bring at least five years of related experience, including respiratory homecare
Communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing
Deliver strong presentations that engage and inform your audience
Evaluate and research training options to find the best solutions
Design and implement effective training materials tailored to needs
Use Microsoft Office Suite and related software proficiently in your daily work
Manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and a results-driven approach
Demonstrate a strong commitment to client and personal safety at all times
Maintain strict client confidentiality while showing effective leadership skills
