We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Duberger clinic in Quebec City, full-time or Part-time, depending on your availability. You will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic multidisciplinary team composed of administrative staff, nurses, nurse practitioners, nurse specialists, family physicians, and medical specialists.
- Conduct a complete health assessment (medical history, physical examination).
- Establish diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
- Prescribe necessary tests (laboratory, imaging).
- Interpret results and adjust treatments.
- Monitor chronic conditions (diabetes, hypertension, COPD, ongoing mental health, etc.).
- Prescribe medications, treatments, and care according to the standards of the OIIQ and the MSSS.
- Perform certain procedures: sutures, foreign body removal, minor drainage, etc.
- Administer vaccinations and preventive interventions.
- Collaborate closely with family physicians, other nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, and other professionals.
- Participate in clinical meetings, case reviews, and continuous improvement activities.
- Advise patients and their families on treatments and lifestyle habits.
- Provide preventative care: smoking cessation, obesity prevention, screening, sexual health, etc.
- Respectfully document interventions in the patient's file.
- Adhere to clinical protocols and standards professional and legal requirements.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning skills.
- Excellent command of first-line protocols.
- Ability to prescribe appropriately and safely.

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Master of Science in Nursing – Nurse Practitioner (NP) training in primary care.
- Passed the OIIQ/CMQ certification exam.
- Member in good standing of the OIIQ.
