Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare Educator Assistant to support our early childhood education team. This role involves assisting with the supervision and care of young children in a nurturing environment, fostering their development, and ensuring a safe and engaging space for learning and play. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with children, strong caregiving skills, and a commitment to creating a positive experience for every child.

Duties

Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities, lesson plans, and educational programs tailored to early childhood development.
Support children during playtime, meals, nap times, and learning activities to promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment by adhering to health and safety standards.
Observe and document children's progress and behavior to inform teaching strategies and communicate with parents as needed.
Provide individualized attention to children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring inclusive participation in activities.
Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and conflict resolution among children.
Assist with setting up materials and resources for activities to foster creativity and exploration.

Experience

Prior classroom experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
Background in early childhood education or related caregiving fields is beneficial.
Demonstrated ability to engage children through teaching, caregiving, and nurturing interactions.
Familiarity with best practices in early childhood development and safety protocols is advantageous.
