Bartenders/Mixologists/Servers serve customers quickly to help businesses run smoothly, and they’re essential for companies that want to offer delicious cocktails. The Windsor Ballrooms is seeking experienced bartenders/mixologists/servers that are knowledgeable in crafting alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages that make guests feel welcomed while also enhancing their overall experience.
Duties and responsibilities
· Greet customers and create a welcoming atmosphere.
· Take orders and handle cash and card payments.
· Serve drinks at the bar or at the table.
· Keep the bar area clean and well stocked.
· Give advice on drinks to suit customers' tastes.
· Collect glasses and wash up.
· Good knowledge of wine selection, wine service and beer service.
· Operating blenders, coffee makers, ice cream makers, and other equipment.
· Replenish beverages and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
· Washing glassware and bar utensils.
· Training new employees.
Technical Skills
- Mixology & Recipes: Deep knowledge of spirits, wine varietals, beers, and the ability to confidently prepare classic cocktails.
- Speed & Efficiency: The ability to free-pour accurately, utilize bar tools (shakers, jiggers, strainers), and maintain a fast pace during rushes.
- Bar Management: Knowledge of inventory control, opening/closing duties and station restocking
Soft Skills & Physical Requirements
- Customer Service & Charisma: Exceptional ability to engage with patrons, provide recommendations, and handle difficult or inebriated customers smoothly.
- Multitasking & Composure: The capacity to work effectively under high pressure and multitask (e.g., serving guests, making drinks, and handling payments simultaneously).
- Stamina: Standing for long shifts, lifting heavy boxes, and working late-night, weekend, or holiday hours.
Other Skills and qualifications
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Mixology or the ability to make traditional cocktails and create new ones
- Have sound knowledge of spirits, beers, wine, cocktails and coffee

Experience requirements
- At least a year of bartending experience or experience as a bar waiter/waitress, Host or Hostess in a well-established venue and/or restaurant

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
