Work as a Cath Lab RN in the United States

IntelliStaff Medical is actively recruiting experienced Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurses (RNs) from Canada for full-time positions across leading U.S. hospitals.

Compensation (Cath Lab RN – U.S.)

Typical range: $32.00 – $65.00 USD/hour depending on state and experience
Higher-paying states include: California, New Jersey, and Nevada
Lower cost-of-living states often offer strong purchasing power (Texas, Kansas, Alabama)
Sign-on bonus available in some locations

Minimum Requirements

Canadian citizenship (required for TN visa eligibility)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
NCLEX-RN passed
English proficency
VisaScreen (CGFNS/TruMerit), Visa4Nurses, GlobalBridge or in process
Active RN license or eligibility in U.S. state of employment
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1–2 years of Cath Lab, ICU, or ER experience

Responsibilities and Duties

Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures including assessments and education
Assist cardiologists during procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology studies
Monitor cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic status throughout procedures
Operate and troubleshoot specialized Cath Lab equipment
Provide post-procedure care and monitor for complications
Respond rapidly to emergencies such as arrhythmias or cardiac events
Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately
Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery plans
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards
