Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team and contribute to a variety of building and renovation projects. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse tasks in a dynamic construction environment, supporting skilled trades and ensuring project completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and familiarity with essential construction tools and techniques.

Duties

Assist with the preparation and cleanup of job sites, including loading and unloading materials
Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and caulking guns to support construction activities
Perform demolition, site clearing, and basic restoration tasks as needed
Support carpentry work including framing, drywall installation, and flooring installation
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to assist in project execution
Assist with plumbing, welding, tile laying, and other specialized trades under supervision
Apply construction painting techniques to prepare surfaces for finishing
Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment at all times

Experience

Prior experience working with hand tools and basic construction tasks is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, or construction drawings is a plus
Experience in carpentry, restoration, flooring installation, tile laying, or plumbing is desirable but not mandatory
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials safely
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
