What are your contributions to the team?

Product Environmental Compliance

Monitor and review environmental laws and regulations in Canada, U.S., E.U., Asia and other countries that may impact the use of chemicals and/or market access in the aerospace industry;
Assist in preparing guidance / regulatory reports on environmental regulations, analysis, and statistics related to compliance, as required, and communicate them to internal stakeholders;
Compile mandatory substances information for products and work with different departments across the organization, to inform customers and suppliers, as required under applicable regulations;
Collaborate with Bombardier programs to assist with the development of compliance processes.

Product Eco-Design

Develop and implement environmental or life cycle analysis based on ISO or other relevant standards for research and development projects;
Develop and implement Eco-design methodologies including, but not limited to, chemicals compliance, new technologies, circularity, life cycle analysis (LCA) and end-of-life;
Prepare and offer internal training on product environmental compliance and Eco-design when required.

How to thrive in this role?

Qualifications
As an ideal candidate,

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science (or a closely related field) and / or you possess relevant experience;
You are familiar with REACH and other environmental regulations / laws;
You have an ability to understand and translate environmental regulations into engineering requirements;
You have an understanding of sustainability focused ISO standards and life cycle analysis
You are able to train and provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders;
You have good spoken and written communication skills in both official languages (French and English);
You have a good knowledge of MS Office and experience with Excel VBA and Power BI (an asset);
