About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a hands-on, highly organized, and detail-oriented professional to oversee the day-to-day operations of our building supply operation team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory control, processing stock orders, conducting regular cycle counts, and ensuring inventory levels align with operational needs setting the day to day task for the team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service. This position requires someone who is proactive, dependable, and comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse setting.
Location: Quispamsis, New Brunswick
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Eligibility: Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or individuals with a valid Canadian work permit.

What You'll Do:
- Assist with purchasing inventory and custom orders, ensuring quality, pricing, and timely delivery.
- Assist customers with product selection, orders, and problem resolution.
- Staff scheduling, and assigning the day to day task
- Coordinate training on specialized equipment and ensure cleanliness and organization of the storage locations.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with company standards.
- Responsible for the day-to-day flow of business within the store front
- Create & reconcile purchase orders for Home Building Supplies
- Maintain all levels of Inventory Maintenance
- Inventory cycle counts.
- Staff scheduling, day to day tasks and duties.
- Work with manager to create new processes and efficiencies within the group.
- Optimize inventory layouts and workflow.
- Review negative inventory & inventory movement report daily.
- Providing quality customer support.
What we are looking for:
- Strong organizational, leadership, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy.
- Team player with good communication.
- Proficient in inventory systems and MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Strong customer service skills.
- Highly organized and dependable.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment.
- Able to follow directions effectively.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, building supplies, or a related industry.
- Experience supervising or leading a team in a warehouse, retail, or distribution environment.
- Knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, and cycle counting.
- Experience in construction, home improvement, or building materials is considered a strong asset.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Clean Driver's Abstract.
- Criminal Record Check.
