About Us
Rabbit Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, has produced over 200 million pounds of uranium concentrate since its inception. The uranium mined and milled at Rabbit Lake has been used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future.
The Role
Reporting to the coordinator, planning and materials, you will be responsible for issuing materials from various warehouse facilities, shipping and receiving, inventory cycle counts, data entry, loading and off-loading freight, as well as other general warehouse duties.
This is a six-month temporary position.
In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for counter support by issuing parts, assisting customers, and recommending suitable alternative stock items when needed.
- Manage shipping and receiving operations by completing documentation, safely loading and unloading freight, and organizing inventory within the warehouse.
- Participate in cycle counts by accurately identifying parts, reconciling discrepancies in the system
- Supporting additional duties as assigned, including assisting the fuel vendor and trucking operations.
Required:
- grade 12 education or equivalent;
- one year of related work experience in an industrial warehouse environment;
- equivalent combination of education and work experience considered;
- experience working on a forklift and loader;
- excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- team player with strong computer and organizational skills; and
- work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
Recommended:
- previous underground experience;
- experience using SAP; and
- previous training in first aid, WHMIS, and transportation of dangerous goods.

Safety Sensitive Site
Preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan’s North (RSN).
The Rabbit Lake operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a two week on/two week off rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.
