Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Apartment Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the property, ensuring tenant satisfaction, completing move-ins and move-outs, scheduling the maintenance staff, and managing administrative tasks. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for residents.

Duties

Manage day-to-day operations of the apartment complex, including maintenance, leasing, and tenant relations.
Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance needs.
Handle tenant inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Oversee leasing processes, including marketing available units, conducting tours, and processing applications.
Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Maintain accurate records of tenant leases, payments, and property expenses.
Develop and implement community events to foster resident engagement and satisfaction.
Collaborate with vendors for property maintenance services while ensuring quality work is performed.

Requirements

Previous experience in property management or a related field is required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively with residents and staff.
Proficiency in property management software is a plus (Yardi).
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Knowledge of Residential Tenancies Act.
