Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Nail Technician/Beauty Therapist to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional nail care and beauty services that leave clients feeling pampered, confident, and beautiful. Your expertise in nail treatments, body waxing, and overall customer service will help create a welcoming environment where clients return time and again. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills, engage with diverse clients, and contribute to a thriving beauty community.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylic nails, gel-x and nail enhancements with precision and care.
Perform body waxing treatments efficiently while maintaining high standards of sanitation and client comfort.
Deliver excellent customer service by listening to client needs, offering personalized recommendations, and ensuring a positive experience.
Promote retail sales of beauty products and additional services through effective upselling techniques to enhance client satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards rigorously across all workstations and tools to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
Communicate clearly with clients about treatments, aftercare instructions, and product usage to foster trust and loyalty.
Assist in retail display setup and stock replenishment to support overall salon operations.
Lash Tint or Eyelash extension are an assets

Requirements

Proven experience in nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel applications, or similar treatments.
Knowledge of body waxing procedures along with proper sanitation practices.
Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to upsell products and services confidently while prioritizing customer needs.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Familiarity with retail sales techniques to promote products and increase revenue streams.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and sanitation at all times.

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Education:

Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

Nail care: 1 year (preferred)
manicure and pedicure: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

english and vietnamese (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

certification for nail care, foot care, and lash care (preferred)

Location:

Red Deer, AB T4R 2H6 (preferred)
