Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Kinesiologist and make a meaningful impact on patient recovery and well-being! In this vital role, you will deliver expert movement and rehabilitation services, develop personalized treatment plans, and collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical function, mobility, and strength to develop tailored rehabilitation programs
Implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities
Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to ensure optimal recovery outcomes
Maintain detailed documentation of patient sessions using electronic medical records systems with accuracy and confidentiality
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physiotherapists to coordinate care plans
Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications
Manage case documentation efficiently while adhering to hospital protocols and healthcare regulations

Requirements

Valid registration as a Kinesiologist with relevant licensing authorities
Proven experience working in hospital settings or acute care environments with pediatric and adult populations
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care procedures
Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual proficiency in French is highly desirable
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; experience with electronic medical records is essential
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively within tight timeframes
Hands-on experience with pediatric rehabilitation and acute care scenarios preferred
Strong analysis skills for assessing patient progress and modifying treatment plans accordingly
Computer operation skills necessary for documentation, scheduling, and data management
