Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Kitchen Help and play a vital role in supporting our food service operations! This energetic position is perfect for individuals passionate about food, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to a lively kitchen environment. You will assist with food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and help deliver excellent service to our guests. This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the food industry while working in a fast-paced, friendly setting.

Duties

Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and basic cooking tasks under supervision
Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations and storage areas
Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene standards
Help with meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service during busy hours
Support serving activities by delivering dishes to guests or assisting with table setups when needed
Maintain inventory levels of supplies and notify staff of low stock items
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for everyone

Skills

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking basics
Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service support
Experience with meal preparation and serving in the food industry is a plus
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
