Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Healthy Heart Institute is seeking a compassionate and motivated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our growing outpatient cardiology team.

Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality Nuclear Cardiology procedures, including:
- Rest and stress myocardial perfusion imaging
- Rest MUGA studies
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
- Provide patients with clear pre-test instructions and explanations of procedures.
- Verify patient identity, preparation, and safety before all examinations.
- Maintain patient comfort, dignity, and confidentiality throughout testing.
- Perform and document daily quality control procedures.
- Maintain equipment according to manufacturer and departmental standards.
- Safely handle, store, and dispose of radioactive materials in accordance with CNSC regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory records.
- Comply with all applicable professional, provincial, and federal regulations.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and fellow healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement and continuing education initiatives.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- Current registration and member in good standing with CAMRT and ACMDTT.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
- Nuclear Cardiology experience is an asset but is not required.
