Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shingler/Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with roofing projects and general labor tasks on-site. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be comfortable with physical activity, and possess basic construction skills. Prior experience with hand tools, carpentry, or handyman work is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in roofing while contributing to quality project completion.

Responsibilities

Assist with shingling and roofing installation according to project specifications
Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, and drills to support roofing tasks
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently
Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to ensure accurate work
Apply caulking and sealing materials as needed for waterproofing and insulation
Maintain a clean and organized work site, ensuring safety protocols are followed
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Qualifications

Previous experience in roofing is preferred
Drivers license
Familiarity with hand tools and basic construction techniques
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
Knowledge of blueprint reading is advantageous but not required
Strong attention to safety procedures and workplace regulations
Reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Prior experience with caulking or roofing is a plus but not mandatory

Pay: $20.00-$38.68 per hour
