Job Summary

Join our vibrant team as a Hair Stylist, where your passion for hair artistry and exceptional customer service will shine! In this dynamic role, you will craft stunning hairstyles, provide personalized consultations, and create a welcoming environment for every client. Your expertise will help clients look and feel their best while driving retail sales through product recommendations and upselling. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity, build lasting relationships, and grow within a supportive salon community. Commission with fall back wage.

Duties

Deliver professional hair styling services including cuts, color treatments, blowouts, and special occasion styles with precision and flair
Provide personalized consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable styles and hair care products
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment
Engage with clients in a friendly, energetic manner to foster loyalty and enhance their overall experience
Upsell retail products by educating clients on hair care solutions that meet their needs, boosting sales opportunities
Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, answering client inquiries, and processing transactions efficiently
Keep detailed records of services performed and products used for each client to ensure continuity and personalized care

Qualifications

Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse techniques and styles
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and actively listen to client needs
Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices within a salon environment
Ability to upsell products naturally by educating clients on benefits tailored to their hair type and concerns
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and engage clients confidently
Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary
A positive attitude, energetic approach, and passion for helping clients look their best are essential for success in this role

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
